An ideal set for general phonics teaching with a larger quantity of beads and strings. Includes 174 beads which measure between 15-32.5mm wide and all are 29mm height. The beads are orange, dark purple and light purple to match phases 2, 3 and 5 of the letters and sounds programme. Also includes white bead ';q' for general teaching and ';apostrophe' for forming high frequency words. Beads can be used independently to create pseudo words to check phonic recognition.
